Minutes
Present: Pat Adamski Leroy Berning, Nina Durand, Tim Guimont, Adam Nafstad, Rob
Olson, Alanna Lau, Lauryn White
Not Present:

1. Chair - Lauryn White
2. Vice Chair - Pat Adamski

2. Central Park
1. Playground - City Council has approved the design. Adam is in the process of
submitting the plans to the engineer for bidding. We are still moving forward
with the current design.
2. Dugout Shelters - The Albertville Lions are going to sponsor the dugouts. Tim
is in the process of getting bids.
3. Water Feature -No changes at this time. The current design is still being
discussed.
4. Lights - The parks lights are up.
5. Internal Trail System - We discussed the desire for a trail system throughout
Central Park. Adam is going to draw up some ideas for a future vision board.
6. Field Updates - Field #3 improvements have been done. The netting has been
ordered and will be installed in the spring. Field #1 needs new lights. The poles
are in rough shape. We also discussed scoreboards for fields 1 &2. It sounds
like the Foxtailers and the Knights of Columbus might be interested in
sponsorship.
2. Other Updates
1. Main Street Updates - Adam took us through more Main Street designs. We
discussed lighting options and other plaza designs. More to come.
2. Pickleball Courts - Based on the size of our hockey rink, we could fit 6
pickleball courts. Adam is getting pricing on new cement.
3. Explore Your Parks Night 2025 - Date of May 15th, 2025. As of right now we
are going to have events at Westwind Park, Four Seasons Park, and Hunters
Park or Linwood Park
