PUBLIC COMMENTS -The City of Albertville welcomes and encourages public input on issues listed
on the agenda or of general community interest. Advertised public hearings are scheduled as such so that
the public is afforded an opportunity to speak. Citizens wishing to address the Mayor and Council
regarding specific agenda items, other than public hearings should indicate so and will be afforded an
opportunity during the discussion of said item, Council willing and time permitting. Citizens wishing to
speak on matters not listed on the agenda (or items on the agenda that did not include an opportunity to
speak) are always afforded the opportunity to do so under the heading "Citizens Addressing the Council',
usually scheduled at the beginning and end of the agenda. Presentations are limited to five (5) minutes. In
any case, citizens are asked to complete a `Request to Speak Card'.

1). 0 Approve request that the Joint Powers Water Board convey a water line
easement in Westwind Third Addition to the City and set a public hearing for
7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 to consider vacating a portion of this
easement and a portion of the drainage and utility easement on the Westwind
Third Addition plat
2). Albertville City -Wide Garbage Service (discussion and update)
K. Administration
1). 0 Approve purchase and installation of a one -ton air conditioning unit from
Weidner's Mechanical Contractors to be installed in the City Hall computer room
at a cost of $2,780
2). 0 Approve continuing with work hours at four (4) 10-hour days until at such
time the City Council deems it appropriate to modify. Staff is to closely monitor
customer service, employee safety and other factors and report back to Council
regularly to determine any need to modify or change hours
3). 0 Approve leasing marquee sign space to both Inspiration Fitness and LivMusic
for $50 per month paid on a bi-monthly, subject to incorporating this amendment
into their building lease
4). Accept the City Administrator's Written Report
