Dear Property Owner:
Please find below the public hearing notice which was published on April 3, 2006 in North Crow
River News, the official paper of the City of St. Michael. As indicated in the hearing notice, the
St. Michael Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 20, 2006,
regarding the below mentioned requests. This is the only item on the agenda. Any person
wanting to attend or speak during the public hearing portion of the meeting should be available
no later than 7:00p.m. A map indicating the location of the proposed elementary school is on the
reverse side of this notice.
PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF SAINT MICHAEL
WRIGHT COUNTY MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Michael Planning and Zoning Commission will
hold a Public Hearing at a Special Meeting on Thursday, April 20, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at the St.
Michael City Hall, 3150 Lander Avenue NE to consider the following requests that would allow
for the construction of an elementary school: Rezoning from A-1 (General Agriculture) to R-1
(Low Density Residential); a Conditional Use Permit to allow a school in the R-1 zoning district;
and Preliminary/Final Plat review to create a lot of record for the proposed elementary school.
The proposed school would generally be located east of Jamison Avenue NE, south of Co. Rd.
18 and west of the Albert Villa's 3d Addition, Albertville, MN (see location map) (Owner: ISD
885, 11343 50th Street NE, Albertville, MN 5530 1 /Applicant: Architects Rego + Youngquist,
Inc., 5217 Wayzata Blvd., #111, St. Louis Park MN 55416). The legal description and plans are
available at City Hall for review during normal working hours.
Anyone so desiring to be heard regarding this matter, will be heard at this meeting. Written
comments should be received no later than 4:30 p.m., April 20, 2006, at St. Michael City Hall,
3150 Lander Avenue NE, St. Michael, MN 55376.
