Dear Ms. Kolb:
Thank you for the opportunity to review and comment on the above project. It has been
reviewed pursuant to the responsibilities given the State Historic Preservation Officer by
the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and the Procedures of the Advisory Council
on Historic Preservation (36CFR800), and to the responsibilities given the Minnesota
Historical Society by the Minnesota Historic Sites Act and the Minnesota Field
Archaeology Act.
We have reviewed this project previously as part of the Environmental Assessment
Worksheet process.
1. Based on the results of the survey of the area completed by Archaeological
Research Services, we conclude that the likelihood of any archaeological
properties on the site is low
2. The farmstead located at 12028 6th Street still needs to be evaluated for
National Register eligibility.
Contact us at 651-296-5462 with questions or concerns. Please refer to the SHPO
Number in any correspondence.
Sincerely,
~~
