1.Central Park
1.Playground - PIP is done. Landscaping is next. No official opening date yet,
but progress is being made.
2.Fencing - The fence between the new playground and the church needs
replacing. The decorative fencing quote was very high. Tim will get pricing on a
4 foot black chain link fence instead.
3.Water Feature - Construction should resume Wednesday of this week.
4.Scoreboard - Completed
5.Dugouts - Currently being built.
2. Other Updates
1.Four Seasons Park - The Lion’s head drinking fountain has been installed. The
Joey Bongarts Bench has also been installed. We also discussed possible
pickle ball courts. We are still exploring our best option for pickle ball in our
park.
2.Winter Park - The prices on swings are relatively low if we want to move
forward on adding a baby swing and ADA swing. Tim is going to look at curb
prices. The city is holding on to some of the old Central Park equipment. We
are still discussing how we could use a few pieces at Winter Park.
