Gartner, P.E. Reg. No. 17284 1. GRADING The Developer shall grade the streets to the subgrade elevation and the boulevards to approximately finished grade. Only minor site grading will be required of the Contractor after construction to restore the site to its initial condition. All grading work by the Contractor for restoration purposes shall be incidental to the unit prices bid. 2. SEWER PIPE The Contractor may utilize Ultra-Rib sewer pipe in lieu of the SDR 35, PVC for the sewer mains. The Ultra-Rib shall conform to ASTM F794, "Standard Specification for Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) Ribbed Gravity Sewer Pipe and Fittings Based on Controlled Inside Diameter". The Contractor shall indicate on the proposal form if he is utilizing SDR 35 or Ultra-Rib. 3. COMPLETION DATE Delete the first and second sentences of the second paragraph of Article 1 of the Special Provisions. Insert the following in its place: "The Contractor shall complete all underground construction and placement of the class 5 aggregate base by November 30, 1993. The City of Albertville would also like the Contractor to get the curb and gutter and the bituminous base course completed by this date if possible. If this cannot be done, the curb and gutter, bituminous base course and all restoration must be completed by June 15, 1994. The bituminous wear course shall be paved in the spring of 1995 and shall be completed by June 1, 1995." 4. WRIGHT COUNTY UTILITY PERMIT Attached is a copy of the approved Utility Permit from the Wright County Highway Department. The Contractor shall comply with all requirements listed. End of Addendum 2
