Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at 1:30 p.m. on the 9th -day
of November, 1$94, at the City Hall locat.ed at 5975 Main Avenue
H.E., in the City of Albertville to consider the proposed
assessment for street and uti I i ties iIriprovements to all the
properties within the Hardwood Ponds Second Addition, lnch.lding
lots one through fourteen in block one and lots one through
thirteen in block two, all in the City of Albertville, Wright
County, Minnesota.
The amounts to be specially assessed against your particular
lots, pieces or parcel s of I and are detai I ed on the attached
assessment roll. Adoption by .the Ci ty Counci 1 of the proposed
assessment may be taken at the time of the hearing. You may at any
time prior to certi fication of assessment to the. County Audi to~,
pay the entire assessment on such property, with interest accrued
to the date of payment, to the City Clerk. No interest shall be
charged if the entire assessment is paid within3ttdays from the
adoption of this assessment. You may at any time thereafter pay
to the Ci ty CI erk the entj,.,r-e amount of the assessment remaining
unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the n.xt succeedint
year. If you decide not to prepay the assessment beforetbedate
given above, the rate of int..rest that will apply is 5.4\ per ,year.
The right to partially prepay the assessment is not available.
The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection
at the citl' clerk's offic~ at Albertville City Hall. The total
amount of the proposed assessment is $225,353,,11.. Written or oral
objections to the assessment will be considered at the meeting.
No appeal may be. taken as to the amount of the assessment unless
a s~gned, written objection is filed with the City Clerk prior to
the hearing or is presented to the presiding officer at the
hearing.
An oWI}er may apP4!al an. ass.essment to the District. Court
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.081 by serving written
notice of the appeal u.pon the Mayor or City Clerk of Albertville
within thirty (30) days after the adoption of the assessment and
filing such notice with the District Court within ten (10) days
after service upon the Mayor or City Clerk.

Minnesota Statutes Sections 435.193 through 435.1.95 authorize
a municipality to defer the- payment of assessments' against
homestead property owned by persons 65 years of age: and older or
who are retired because of permanent and total disabil ityunder
circumstances whe.re it would be a hardship for such person to make
the assessment payments. Applications by eligible persons for
deferment of special assessment payments may b.e made at the
Albertville city Hall, 5964 Main Avenue H.E., Albertville,
Minnesota.
