Information on the locations of utility easements must be provided for review to assure compliance with Joint Powers' requirements for watennain location. · The plans show water service line curb stops to be located within 3 feet of driVeways at Lots 3,4, & 7, Block 3, and Lots 5 & 17, Block 1. These services should be moved so that the curb stops are at least 3 feet from the edge of the driveways. · The plans appear to show the curb stDp!j; Qf1 the lot property lines. Thera is no note or detail on thepfan$ shO\Ning' the Board's requirement that curb stops be iOiatedat least 1 foot from lot property boundaries or easement boundaries. A note should be added to the plans to make this requirement claar to the contractor, in addition to submitting a plat showing the easements as required above. · The specifications for this project contain standard details for installing water services for both Joint Powers Water Board and the City of Albertville, and these standards are in conflict. A note should be added to the plans referencing the Joint Powers Standards and details in the specifications, and stating the Joint Powers standards always apply where more stringent. . · Board Design Standards require hydrants at the end of dead-ends for flUShing purposes. A temporary hydrant should be added to the end of the 12" stub ending north of Co. Hwy. 37.
