The fore_ain will connect into the manhole at the intersection of L.-bertand 60th street Northeast. This line has a slope of .40~ froll this manhole to the' first downstream manhole, and a slope of .~8% from the first downstream manhole to the second downstream manhole. Based on the more gradual slope, the line has a capacity of 335 gpm. 'The new lift station will contain two 175 gpmpumps. One pump will be a standby pump, so the additional flow from the new interceptor should not exceed 175 gpm. Therefore, this line is capable of handling the flow from the new interceptor until such time that flows require pump replacement. As can be ..en on the attached sketch, the house located at the end of the exi.t~ ....1" line has a basement elevation 3i feet above the sewer. Since this is where the sewer is the shallowest, this home should be the most critical. We are willing to sbootadd.1tional basement elevations if concerned homeowners will provide us with access. If you h~ve any ~stions, please feel free to contact us. Sincerely, MlYER-ROHLIN, INC. (JU~ Bob Sullentrop Professional Engineer 81 Pile: E-8801-A Tho,. P.
