Minutes
Present: Tim Guimont, Nina Zeleny, Alanna Lau, Pat Adamski, Leroy Berning, Lauryn
White, Rob Olson
Not present: Adam Nafstad
1. Park Improvement Updates
-Central Park
-Complaints of flying balls entering the park. Confirmed this is a softball, not a
baseball issue. Softball currently plays one night a week, with peak complaints
happening during Friendly City Days tournaments. Potential solutions including
moving softball to an alternate field, but poses visibility issues with lighting or
adding additional netting and signs to current field.
-Lights - Fall/Winter Install
-Prices in progress; still scheduled for Fall/Winter install
-Hockey Shoot Out
-Complete; fence will see wear and tear; recommendations of plywood (potential
noise issue) or netting installed
-Outhouse Location
-No new updates; confirmed they are cleaned once a week; continued
discussions on decorative fence/enclosure ensuring ease of waste disposal
-Other
-New fence is complete
-Security cameras have been installed
2. Winter Park
-Curb: No new updates
-Basketball Court: Permanent drawings; parks crew to pressure wash to inspect if
further treatment is needed
-Little Winter: Trail repaving is complete
3. Main Street
-Plaza Planter: No new updates; construction might delay install this year
-Sign: Completed, letters and lights have been installed
