NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of
Albertville, Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at 7:00 p.m. on
the 24th day of November, 1992, at the City Hall located at 5964
Main Avenue N.E., in the City of Albertville upon the proposed
municipal improvements assessment of the properties within that
part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35, Township 121, Range
24, and the North 180 feet of the Northeast quarter of Section 2,
Township 120, Range 24, all such properties lying West of Wright
County Highway #19, South of Wright County Highway #37, and East
of Westwind Addition, all in the City of Albertville, Wright
County, Minnesota.
The amounts to be specially assessed against your particular
lots, pieces, or parcels of land (PID#'s 101-500-354300) are
detai I ed on the attached assessment roll. You may at any time
prior to certification of assessment to the County Audi tor, pay the
entire assessment on such property, with no interest accrued to the
date of payment, to the City Clerk. No interest shall be charged
if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption
of this assessment. You may at any time thereafter pay to the City
Clerk the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with
interest accrued to December 31 of the next succeeding year. If
you decide not to prepay the assessment before the date given
above, the rate of interest that will apply is 7.2% per year. The
right to partially prepay the assessment is not available.
The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection
at the Albertville City Hall. The total amount of the proposed
assessment is $350,866.94. Wri t ten or oral objections wi 11 be
considered at the meeting. No appeal may be taken as to the amount
of the assessment unless a signed, written objection is filed with
the City Clerk prior to the hearing or presented to the presiding
officer at the hearing.
An owner may appeal an assessment to the District Court
pursuant to Minnesota statutes Sections 429.081 by serving written
notice of the appeal upon the Mayor or City Clerk of the City of
Albertville within thirty (30) days after the adoption of the
assessment and filing such notice with the District Court within
ten (10) days after service upon the Mayor or City Clerk.
Minnesota Statutes Section 435.193 through 435.195 authorize
a municipality to defer the payment of assessments against
homestead property owned by persons 65 years of age and older or
who are retired because of permanent and total disability under
circumstances where it would be a hardship for such person to make
the assessment payments.
Applications by eligible persons for deferment of special
assessment payments may be made at the AI~ertville City Hall in

Office at Albertville, Minnesota, on the 9th day of November, 1992,
