Administrator City of Albertville 5975 Main Avenue NE PO Box 9 Albertville, MN 55301-0009 Dear Ms. Goeb: After review of the preliminary plan for Karston Cove 3rd Addition, I have the following comments: 1. Typical hydrant spacing is 350 feet. A hydrant should be added at Station 2+50. 2. Valves are to be included on 8" water main laterals to be located 3 feet from the cross. 3. FES-60 is 1 foot lower than the sedimentation basin outlet. Verify capacity of the inlet pipe. 4. Material specification is required for ductile iron water main. 5. Easements will be required in the future for utilities on private property when the area is platted. 6. The area to be disturbed is approximately one acre; include a temporary erosion control plan. This concludes my remarks. Please contact me if you have any questions.
