Dear Mr. Nowacki:
On behalf of the City of Albertville, I have reviewed your request to modify building types and finished
floor elevations for Lots 1-6 of Block 1, Karson Cove, 3rd Addition.
You are proposing to modify building types for the six lots from a split-entry with a lookout and full
basement to a slab-on-grade type. This proposed change is acceptable to the City, although you are
advised that in-house storage space will be limited.
For Lots 1 and 2, you are proposing to lower the finished floor elevation from 966.8 to 965.9. This
proposed change is acceptable to the City, provided driveways have a minimum slope of2%.
For Lots 3-6, you are proposing to lower the finished floor elevation from 966.8 to 965.9. The lower
elevation will not allow for adequate drainage along the back lot lines. The finished floor elevation may
be lowered to 966.3, allowing for adequate drainage along the back lot line.
Please submit a revised grading plan (full-size) that contains the changes identified in this letter,
