Re: Towne Lakes 5th Addition Addressing
To Whom It May Concern:
The City of Albertville was informed by the Wright County Sheriff's Department that some
addressing in the Towne Lakes 5th Development does not match the County's Grid, which
may lead to some confusion in a 911 emergency. The City Council desires to maintain a
uniform system throughout the City making it easier for people to find addresses; therefore,
the City Council has passed an ordinance changing Laurel Street NE to 68th Street NE and
68th Street NE to 69th Street NE. Furthermore, all addresses should be in the 11,000 range
changing 10253, 10265 and 10277 to 11,000 numbers.
On February 6, 2006, the City Council passed Ordinance No 2006-01 entitled: An Ordinance
Amending Street Names on the Towne Lakes 5th Addition Plat and Ordinance No. 2006-02
entitled: An Ordinance Amending House Addresses on the Towne Lakes 5th Addition Plat.
These ordinances will become effective Monday, February 13, 2006.
Letters have been sent to homeowners who have been affected. Please take the necessary
steps to change addressing within your records. Prior to February 13th, our office will notify
Wright County regarding this change.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, however we feel that it is in the
best interest of the citizens of Albertville to make sure they are able to receive a quick
response in case of an emergency.
